How long does it take to get started?
We can get started handling your books immediately! We will take some time in the initial stages of the onboarding process to really understand your unique business needs and establish a set of business goals to help measure success. Then we will get to work designing and implementing the optimal accounting systems, policies and procedures, and reporting needs which can typically be accomplished within 30 days.
How do you work with us remotely?
We will assign your firm a dedicated team of bookkeepers, ProAdvisors, and accountants who work from our headquarters in National Harbor, Maryland. Our staff can communicate with you in many different ways including phone, email, text message and virtual conferences. Whichever options works best for you.
Which accounting software does Surge Ahead support?
Our staff are Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors who specialize in implementing accounting system designs for growing businesses. We maximize the value of the QuickBooks software by utilizing it features and integrating them with 3rd Party tools and apps to fully meet the business management needs of our clients.
Will I still need to hire in-house bookkeeping or accounting staff if I go with Surge Ahead?
No. You can decide to handle certain accounting functions in-house, or we can become your complete virtual accounting department. We will assign you a dedicated bookkeeper who can work with you daily, weekly, or monthly to handle all of your day to day accounting functions.
